I have always enjoyed taking photographs. My first camera was a hot pink 110. I wish I still had it so that I could show you a picture. The excitement of taking pictures, then the agony of waiting for the film to be developed and returned, then going through the pictures, writing on the back, and putting them in an album. I wish I knew what had happened to all of those pictures and albums.
Recently, in the last year or so, I have discovered Photo Challenges. They are wonderful! It is a great way to “keep the creative juices flowing”. Starting the beginning of October, I posted a photography challenge on my Facebook page. The winner each month will receive a different prize. I also participate, because taking photographs of different topics is so much fun. It is a way to improve my skills (both photography and editing) and to stay out of a creative slump. I encourage you to join me. Follow me on Facebook to see the new challenge (rules and prize) at the beginning of each month.
If you have any ideas or suggestions for a photography challenge, please let me know! I would love to hear from you. I’d like it even more if you would join one. No experience necessary. You can also check out this Pinterest board to see current or past challenges. December’s challenge will show up there pretty soon.
Here are my photographs from October’s Photography Challenge. November’s challenge is already posted on my Facebook page.
